I’m writing a thesis on deliberate self harm right now, and guys, it’s something that people who haven’t done it have great difficulty understanding. It’s important not to just jump to the conclusion that a person is doing it to make others feel bad or get some attention, because these are rarely the primary reason for the behaviour.
However, I’m perplexed as to what this girl is attempting to accomplish by posting photographs on the net. People who self harm usually attempt to conceal the damage done, but she seems to be almost…proud?

I find this very disturbing. This girl has the idea cutting is cool and she will get attention with her making photos and posting them on internet.
I am a cutter myself, and I am NOT, i repeat NOT an emo. I am just a casual girl, with a bit of her own style. I do everything to hide my cuts, nobody, but my best friend, knows it.
